My approach
This practice is rooted in psychotherapy and integrates expressive arts therapy as a supportive modality. Expressive arts therapy is based on the understanding that not all emotional experience can be directly expressed in words. Through creative processes such as drawing, imagery, movement, or symbolic expression, we can access layers of experience that are otherwise difficult to reach.
This is not about artistic skill. It is about expression, meaning-making, and emotional integration. I also draw from somatic awareness and relational psychotherapy, supporting the connection between emotional experience, body awareness, and relational patterns.
The work is always guided by what feels appropriate for each person. Talking therapy remains central, with expressive methods offered as an additional support when helpful.
